BBC Radio Scotland Session

Hello!

In case you missed it, we were Live in Session on Vic Galloway’s show last night.

Vic Galloway 8/4/13Look! Look at our absolutely wrecked faces after playing at GnomeGame.

We played

Who Would Want to be Loved?
Low Winter Sun
Sometimes (Erasure Cover)

What a night to be on the radio, eh..?

You can listen again to us and Uncle Vic here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01rrfsl until the 15th of April.

We’re all still rather burst.

Have a gander at our gigs page for some exciting new additions. There’ll be some more information on tickets for our Edinburgh show at the Liquid Room on 10th August, in the next couple of days. Yeah.

Words about NTYAAD (click publication name for full article):

“The bands abundant charm and indie-pop antics as appealing as ever.” ★★★★ THE SKINNY

“It’s a shining, glowing example of the pure power that pop music can possess. ” GOLD FLAKE PAINT

“What we have here is a brilliant indie-rock album. As evinced on glorious alt-chorales like ‘Her Hair Hangs Down’ from the band’s terrific 2010 debut album, Shouting at Wildlife, MacGregor is one of Scottish pop’s most distinct, and promising voices. And alongside Kate Lazda, Rose McConnachie and Scott McMaster, he has crafted an outstanding follow-up in Now That You Are a Dancer.” ★★★★ THE LIST

“There isn’t anything close to a dud on Now You Are A Dancer and from the opening bars of the insanely catchy The Wrench there follows a slightly manic, utterly captivating 10-song arc of tales about alcohol-drenched break-ups, school-day horror stories and stumbling through the error-strewn experiences of getting older.” – FOLK RADIO UK

ALBUM OF THE WEEK on TOM MORTON and VIC GALLOWAY’S BBC RADIO SCOTLAND SHOWS week commencing 4th March.

Live review of first night of Glasgow Album Launch:

“They’ve evolved from DIY party-starters to serious contenders for the Scottish pop throne, with a glorious line in melodic alt-rock” ★★★★★ THE HERALD

Interview with the Kids:

‘Now That You Are A Dancer is saturated with indie pop tunes and fired by an infectious energy that would flatter the most commercial of charts should they care to accommodate it.’  SUNDAY HERALD
